John and Tracey came to us with brief to not only re-clad but to add to and improve their home with a view it being long term and able to stand the test of time.
We proposed a few subtle changes such as squaring up the dining space so it could actually take a table.
Enlarging the west deck to make it more user friendly.
Sinking the spa into the northwest deck so it became more unobtrusive.
Claddings were then discussed and we went through several options including the chosen product of Hermpac Random Width Random Thickness vertical Cedar.
New black anodized joinery also became a feature.
Large steel framed, cedar clad sliders allow the West facing deck to be shut off for both privacy and sun control.
With the expert guidance of Liana Hutchison the interior finishes and fittings have also enhanced the looks this now high quality home.
Speaking with John and Tracey recently they said they couldn’t be happier and they love the ease of the indoor outdoor flow, many friends have commented how well the house has come up and cant believe the change.
