Additions and Alterations for Andrew and Annie.
Two existing one-bedroom cottages and sleep-out and new triple garage.

Andrew and Annie approached me through a mutual friend.

They had purchased this unique property on the Waipu River inlet near Waipu Cove.

They were not quite sure how to execute what they were after.

They wished to create a new family home from the two separate cottages and create quality accommodation from the existing sleep-out for guests, plus they needed garaging.

Their initial thoughts were to join the two one-bedroom cottages together to create a family friendly home. With separate guest accommodation in building to the east. A new in-ground pool was a must and good indoor outdoor flow.

My initial design joined the two cottages with a new vaulted ceiling lounge and entrance-way.
And positioned the new guest accommodation to the east maintaining a view to the estuary.
